what's included?

​

Your house portrait will be an original, hand-painted, unframed 12x12 inch gouache painting. It will be on 100% cotton watercolour paper, supported by mat board with a custom art label. To ensure your artwork arrives safe and sound, free tracked and insured shipping within Canada is included. If you would prefer local pick up in central Edmonton, you will receive a $20 discount on your order. 

 

Framing is not included.

A standard 12 x 12 inch house/building portrait commission costs $240.

 

A 50% deposit is required to confirm the commission. The remaining amount is due once the artwork is complete. You may pay with cash or e-transfer.

If you are looking to have your house painted larger than the standard 12 x 12 portrait, or if you would like your house portrait to include more than just the house, let me know and we can discuss the possibilities!

Please send photos to nancynickolsondraws@gmail.com. I need at least one photo directly from the front of the house with good lighting. Additional photos are helpful to show details like the flower beds, curtains in the windows, etc. To ensure I understand your needs, all the details you want to be included in the artwork should be discussed prior to the signing of the contract.

gift certificates

​

Give the gift of a house portrait commission! This is a great option if your timeline is tight or if you can't track down photos without the gift recipient.

 

How it works: You purchase a gift certificate by prepaying for the full amount of the commission through e-transfer. Once received, I will e-mail your gift certificate. You can either send the certificate to your loved one as a digital version or you can print it. Then, in the new year, your gift recipient can contact me at any time when they are ready to have their artwork started. They will send me their photos and I will create the artwork!
